Memphis

Enjoy a slow paced excursion on a stern wheeler on the Mississippi River, take the Main Street Trolley and walk aMemphis.jpg block to the Rendezvous for those world famous Memphis Ribs, watch the ducks take their daily walk across the Peabody Hotel lobby to the

fountain, Beale Street, Graceland and more. These are just a few of the things to experience at the 2005 All Hands Reunion to be held in Memphis, TN on October 4, 5 & 6, 2005.

These rates include valet parking (worth $15/day) and unlimited in and out access and are available for two days before and after the Reunion date for those who wish to stay longer. The hotel will undergo a name change in June to Doubletree. This will in no way effect any arrangements made for the reunion.

BANQUET The banquet meal will be a Buffet to better accommodate those needing to limit their salt and cholesterol intake. There will be both a beef and chicken entrée with the sauces available in side dishes. There will also be the usual vegetable, salad and dessert choices.

PHOTOS The Dunning Company of Theodore, AL will be taking the photos this year on the Banquet evening. They will take casual and portrait pictures and then make a Memory Photo Booklet available soon after the Reunion that includes pictures of everyone that attended. The booklet is prepaid at $25 (including S/H). The Dunning Company will send portrait proofs to individuals offering an optional package.

GOLF The Golf Tournament will be at Audubon Golf Club. This public course is located approximately 6 miles East of the hotel and there will be car pooling. Eighteen hole green fees and cart (2 People) will be $28 (under age 62) and $21 (over age 62). Tee times will start at 0900. Golf fees will be paid at the time of play. HOWEVER please note on the Registration Form how many golfers will play.

TOURS  There are many sights to see in Memphis. The Main Street Trolley is a good transportation choice. One or three day passes are available at the North Terminal at $3 and $6 with unlimited use. All of the waterfront activities are available by trolley. The Memphis Queen Lines are available for daily 90 minute cruises at 1430. Mud Island can be reached by sky-bridge or monorail. After returning on the Trolley Loop, walk 2 blocks to the Radisson (Doubletree). Right across the street is where you can watch the ducks take their daily march to the Peabody Hotel lobby water fountain. Graceland is a short distance away. The Rendezvous, with their world famous Ribs, is only one block away. For those wishing to recapture Millington (NATTC) memories, informal groups will venture north in carpools.

Note: NATTC is now in Pensacola and BUPERS is in Millington. Few if any of the old buildings now exist.
